Jesy Nelson has Issued an Emotinal appeal ahead of a Major debate in Parliament, as she continues campaining for every newborn baby in England to be screened for spinal muscular atrophy (SMA)

The Singer has been using her Platform to Raise awareness of the Condition and is Pushing for Routine screening to be introduced, Arguing that earlier diagnosis could make a life changing difference for affected Families

Sharing an emotinal Instagram post, She Wrote "We have had some amazing news that Screening is due to start in October this Year, Which is a huge step forward"

"But there is still a big problem... it only covers 72% of England. That means some babies won't be screened simply  because of where they live. A Postcode lottery like this isnt fair. Every baby deserves the same chance. Every Baby life Matters"

She Urged MPs ahead of the Debate, adding: "We're hoping this debate will help push for screening to be avalible for every newborn across England."
